About the role

Security Resilience Analyst, Warwick

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Global Security Resilience Analyst to be part of a talented team minimizing National Grid risks, and the potential cost of a security breach, through an established planning and preparation process that holistically considers all areas of security and resilience.

You will evaluate the adequacy of established contingency measures and recommend improvements where appropriate whilst ensuring National Grid's personnel and partners are adequately trained to perform their security-related duties and responsibilities consistent with related policies, procedures and agreements.

About you

You will have experience and capability of exercising resilience drills, developing plans, assessing capability, integrating with and developing response structures, and previous experience in creating, directing and collaborating within virtual teams with positive outcomes.

You’ll have the ability to measure and mature National Grid’s holistic resilience and security capability, with previous experience working in a resilience, information technology or cyber/security environment consisting of developing processes or programmes.

You will ensure there are standard approaches to security incidents, along with pre-designed and tested operations to put them in effect, and gather and use metrics to inform Business Resilience and Security Incident Response processes.

You'll also confirm there is clear accountability and governance set up to oversee and coordinate resilience activities, and ensure National Grid security resilience policies are aligned to business goals and objectives.

Furthermore, you will coordinate planning & preparation of all resilience activities for Security, employ occasional and unexpected resilience tests, and oversee or lead After Action Reviews / Post Incident Reviews.
