Business Graduate, Gas Transmission
Business Graduate, Gas Transmission
About the roleThe UK is on a journey to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Decarbonising the energy sector is vital to enable the country to make this transformational change. Here in Gas Transmission, we are at the very heart of enabling this transition, and to deliver on this ambition we need to build a Net Zero Energy Workforce. We’re looking for 8 passionate graduates with a wide range of degrees, skills, and backgrounds to join us in tackling the climate challenge by changing the industry from within.
If you are a successful candidate, you will join an 18-month development programme where you’ll undertake 3x six-month workplace rotations before starting your full-time role. The programme is designed to develop your technical, commercial, and business knowledge as well as your personal and professional skills. You’ll have real and challenging objectives and we’ll work with you to tailor placements to stretch you and provide real value to National Grid and wider society.
At least one of your rotations will be in the heart of our decarbonisation journey where you could be helping us demonstrate natural gas to hydrogen conversion, facilitating legal and commercial pathways to Net Zero emissions, or researching and sponsoring new and emerging technologies.
