Keeping us in the press for the right reasons

National Grid's press office deals with a variety of media, and it's vital that we make sure we see what our regular contacts are saying about the company. We use a number of suppliers to do this for us.

What we do

We receive emailed copies of the national cuttings every day, which are circulated around the company to specific recipients.

As our profile continues to grow, so does media interest; and so we always need to be aware of the very latest developments relevant to our industry.

The press office are always the first port of call for any media contacting National Grid and must have a clear understanding of how we want to position ourselves consistently.

From the handling of media queries and supplier publicity requests, to crisis and employee communications, Corporate Affairs are always on hand to manage situations on the fly. Our reputation is one of our biggest assets to secure our future, it’s vital that we have a team who can react effectively to any unforeseen situation.
